Gravity Forms Connector¶
The Gravity Forms Connector extension bridges your DMS inventory with Gravity Forms, allowing you to pass listing data directly into form notifications. When a customer submits a form from a vehicle detail page, the connector makes key inventory information available inside your Gravity Forms email templates.
This means you can automatically include details like the vehicle title, price, stock number, VIN, or any other listing field in the notification sent to your team. Instead of receiving a generic inquiry, you'll know exactly which vehicle the customer is asking about without any manual setup or guesswork.
Simple, seamless, and fully integrated with your existing forms, the Gravity Forms Connector ensures every lead arrives with the context you need to respond quickly and confidently.
Requirements¶
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| DMS version | 1.0.0 or newer |
| License | Starter or higher |
| Gravity Forms | The Gravity Forms plugin, active |
There is no settings screen. Once both plugins are active, the DMS tags appear inside the Gravity Forms notification editor.
How it works¶
- A visitor opens a form on a vehicle detail page or a search result. DMS attaches that listing's ID to the form.
- They submit it. Gravity Forms processes the entry as normal.
- As the notification is built, DMS replaces every listing tag with that vehicle's real values.
Your team receives an email naming the exact vehicle, rather than a bare enquiry they have to chase context for.
Tags are per listing type
The tag list is grouped by listing type. If you run more than one — Cars and Boats, say — use only the tags belonging to the type the form will be shown on. Tags from another type have no value to resolve against and are left as-is.
Next steps¶
- Listing Tags — the available tags and how to add them to a notification.
- Troubleshooting — tags arriving unreplaced, missing tag panel.
