Badges¶
Badges are the small labels that sit on your listings - "Sale", "New Arrival", "Certified", "Sold". They draw attention on both search results and detail pages.
Badges are managed per inventory type at [Your Type] > Badges.
Creating and styling a badge¶
At [Your Type] > Badges, create a badge and set:
- Badge Text - the words shown (e.g. "Sale").
- Badge Color - the background color.
- Text Color - the color of the words.
- Text Size - how large the label appears.
Style badges to match your brand and to make important ones stand out.
Two ways badges get applied¶
1. Manually, per listing. Open a listing and attach a badge in its Badge panel. Good for one-off flags.
2. Automatically, by rules. You can set display rules (conditions) so a badge applies itself whenever a listing matches - for example, show a "Sale" badge on anything with a discounted price, or a "Sold" badge on sold listings. Set these conditions on the Badges screen. Rule-based badges save you from tagging listings one by one.
Where badges appear¶
Applied badges show on:
- Search result cards - so shoppers spot deals while browsing.
- Detail pages - reinforcing the flag when they click through.
Keep the number of badges per listing small so the important ones aren't lost in clutter.
Next: control lifecycle display with Statuses, or design where badges sit on the card in Templates & Pages.
